Ronald E. Walterick

WALTERICK, RONALD E. (aka Reggie or Mr. Ron Sir), Age 63, of Vienna, VA died July 30, 2014 from a short, but courageous battle with melanoma. Ron was the only son of the late Virginia and Eugene Walterick of Vienna, VA. Family was everything to Ron, and he spent most of his vacations visiting and helping out family members with whatever they needed. Ron was an avid Civil War History Buff and when he found spare time from the "Honey Do List" he liked to build military models and play strategic military board games. He was a graduate of James Madison High School and received his Aerospace Engineering Degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology (What's the Good Word?). During his lifetime he worked for Georgia Tech and for the Federal Government as an Aerospace Engineer. Ron is survived by his loving wife Candice E Walterick (Vienna, VA) whom he called his angel, his daughter Jennifer R. Walterick, his little "princ_ass" (Jacksonville, FL) and his sister Lynn Walterick (Media, PA). The family will have a private celebration of life on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 1:00 pm at their home for family and friends. Email ron.walterick@gmail.com for details.
