Beloved wife of the late C. Stanley Payne. Mother of Betty P. Nicholson and husband John C. of Lynchburg, VA, C. Stephen Payne and wife Jean E. of Woodbridge, VA and the late Linda A. Payne and Calvin Payne, Jr. Sister of George Hale of Keswick, Va, James Hale of Pratts, VA and the late John Hale, Jean Ludlham. Grandmother of J. Charles Nicholson, Jr., Cathleen E. Key, and Jonathan S. Payne. She is preceded in death by her great grandson Jack Warren Payne.
