As a volunteer visitor to Springhouse at Westwood in Bethesda, I’d known Ruth for 10 years. She was the last of my “original gang” of ladies. She was smart, kind, gracious and exceedingly modest. I will very much miss her.
Irene was so saddened to hear of the passing of her dear friend, Ruth. She recounts so many fond memories of time spent with Ruth & Carl along with her husband, Ted. Irene is on the mend from a broken hip and resides in a retirement community in Burke, VA. Unfortunately her son, Tom Bowen, is out of town or he would extend his condolences in person. Please know that Ruth and your family remain in Irene’s thoughts and prayers.
My sincere condolences to all of you on your loss. Let the memories you share help ease your sorrow.
