Ruth Louise Rogers, 83, died on Monday, April 5, 2010 at her residence in Fairfax, Va. Loving wife of 62 years of CDR Edmund D. Rogers, Jr., USN (Ret), devoted mother of Edmund D. Rogers, III (Marsha), John F. (Vicky) Rogers and James C. (Carol) Rogers. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Allison (Renzo), Valerie (Mulgai), Kelly and CJ., 3 great-grandchildren, Kiara, Lucas and Natalie and 2 nephews, Bruce and Gary Henry. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
