Ruth Marie Wadey, age 93, of Vienna, Virginia passed away on December 19, 2009 at her residence. Loving wife of the late Harold C. Wadey & cherished mother of Charles W. Wadey, Ruth M. "Ruthie" Wadey & Martha (Barry) Virts. Mrs. Wadey is also survived by two grandchildren, Charles E. (Amber) Wadey & Andrew J. (Julia) Wadey & two great-grandchildren, Aurora & Zeland Wadey.

I have many good memories of my visits with Ruth in Vienna, Va, many years ago. She was always the gracious hostess and we had many good talks together. I’m just sorry that in later years we didn’t’ see each other–living on the other side of the country made it very difficult. But I do have good memories to cherish. Nancy
Our grandmother will be missed.
Aurora never got to meet her Great-Grandmother, but she will always know why we chose Ruth as her middle name. Grandma Wadey was a strong, kind, beautiful woman and will be missed.
My sincerest condolences, Ruth was a very nice person. It was a long time ago, while dating her daughter, but I always remember Ruth was nice to me.
