Santina M. Winland of Vienna, VA on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at her residence. Beloved wife of the late Donald D. Winland, Sr.; mother of Tina M. Winland, Barbara A. Gaile (Edward), Donald D. Winland, Jr., Louis J. Winland and Doris L. Guth (Philip). She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild en route. Friends may call at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9970 Vale Road, Vienna, VA on Thursday, January 4 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Culpeper National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greyhound Rescue, Inc., 862 Cressen Dr., Gerrardstown, WV 25420 or Capital Hospice, 6565 Arlington Blvd., Ste. 501, Falls Church, VA 22042.

You have always been the woman I wanted to be when I grew up but that is a tough goal to reach. Your humor, strength, and character not only filled me with admiration but touched the lives of every person you met. The sparkle in your eyes and warmth of your smile could always brighten any room you were in. You were a never-ending source of warmth, laughter, and compassion bundled in a mighty small package. I am a better person for having had you in my life. I will miss you, my friend, and remember you with love.
