It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Michael Reilly of Oak Hill, Virginia on December 20, 2023 at the age of 64.
Steve was born on November 19, 1959 in Crown Point, Indiana. He graduated from Forest Park High School in Beaumont, Texas, and earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Drafting Technology from Lamar University, also in Beaumont.
After moving from Texas to Virginia, he enjoyed a nearly 40 year career with Dewberry of Fairfax, Virginia.
Steve is survived by his parents, Patrick and Joan Reilly, sisters Carol Levy, Karen Lynn, Janna Weidler and her husband John, brothers Tom Reilly, Paul Reilly, Bill Reilly and his wife Renae, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He loved his job and loved the outdoors, spending his weekends hiking and biking on beautiful Virginia trails. Sports were a favorite throughout his life, both as a participant and as a spectator. He was a music lover, particularly of classical music.
Steve was quiet and unassuming , with a wonderfully dry sense of humor. He was gentle and kind to all, and will be dearly missed.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
