Nancy and family, I am sending my deepest sympathy and love. Know that Steve will always be with you and you carry him in your heart. He is no longer suffering and in a much better place.
Dear Richey Family, When I was a member of the 310th Field Army Support Command as a 22-year old soldier, I worked with then-Major Richey virtually every weekend that we worked. His devotion to duty was so much more than I had ever experienced, and so clearly more than any other officer that was in our office, that it left an impression on me that I carry to this day nearly 50 years later. While I didn’t see Colonel Richey after my discharge from the unit, I will always remember his smile; his bright eyes; and his chipper attitude that was infectious. He was a great American, the kind that the world needs a whole lot more of.
Dear Richeys, While losing a loved one is never easy, at least now he is no longer in pain and has moved on to eternal life in a better place. I have so many fond memories of your father and loved all the time I spent at your house. May God bless and comfort all of you at this difficult time.
So sorry to hear about Steve’s Dad passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time of loss. Hope family and friends surrounding your Thanksgiving gatherings bring you comfort and joy. God Bless you all. Much Love, The Dillards
