Guestbook

  1. Family of Mrs. Glazer…my prayers are with you during this time. I have never, ever been able to oust Mrs. Glazer as the very best teacher I ever had. She was my 5th grade teacher at Burr Farms Elementary…what I remember most is her love for her students. She taughte me to LOVE greek mythology…to this day. She taught me to be proud of my own learning. At the age of 43, she remains one of the people who have impacted my life. I have been blessed to have known her. I wish her family love and blessings during this time. Carolina

  2. Dear Glazer Family, Please know that Sylvia made a giant impact on so many generations of students, myself among them. She ignited my passion for the proper use of grammar, and I think she would be happy to know that I am now a teacher too. She is dearly missed. My thoughts are with your family during this sad time.

  3. To the family of Sylvia Glazer: Both of my daughters were students of hers at Burr Farms School. She tutored my son (with a firm hand) after she retired from teaching! I exchanged holiday cards with her after she moved from the area….she told me once that she had my Christmas card on her mantle because she cared for my children. I lost track of her when she didn’t answer my emails or respond to cards that I sent. I believe that both of my daughters and my son excelled because of her teaching. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Sincerely, Carol Mata
