Tammy Joy Belcher-Funk, age 31, of Vienna, VA and formerly of North Miami Beach, FL died on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of Michael Welton Funk.

Born in Fairfax County on June 15, 1985, she was the daughter of Linda Sophis and Frank Belcher. Tammy was the After School Program Coordinator for the Town of Vienna. She received the "Phoenix Award", recognizing her years of dedicated service in Child Development.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her siblings, Michael Belcher, his wife Sonja, Jeffrey Belcher, and his fiancee, Amanda and Julia Belcher and her husband's parents, Charles and Geraldine Funk.

The family will receive friends at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Thursday, March 16 from 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 17 at 11 AM. The interment will follow the service at 2 PM at Shenadoah Memorial Park in Winchester.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or The American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 Bryn Mawr Ave, Suite 550, Chicago, IL 60631
