  1. I had the privledge of working with Steve when teaching a course for Webster University at Andrews AFB. His presence in the office made the weekly trip very enjoyable and something I looked forward to each week. He was a very fine man and a true asset to Webster. My thoughts and prayers are with your family as you go through this difficult period but please know that Steve left a very positive impression on me that will remain in my mind forever.

  2. Steve was a wonderful man and a great coworker. He had a sharp wit that appeared when you least expected it. I will miss him deeply.

  3. I work at Prince George’s Community College, just a few doors down the hall from Webster U. I didn’t see Steve a lot, but when I visited his office or met him in the hall, he was always delightful and I enjoyed his wit and humor. We chatted about our vacations–I know he loved Las Vegas–and his family. Last holiday season, we sat together at the office pot luck and had a blast. I will miss his quiet smile and humor. His passing has left everyone here at the Andrews education center very heavy hearted.

  4. I had the great opportunity to work with Steve at Webster University. He was such a delight to work with and was always on hand for a laugh or a smile. Though I have since moved, I still feel very much a part of the Webster family and I was greatly saddened when I learned of his passing – he was one of my favorite people to work with. My heart goes out to you and yours as you go through this difficult time. May the Lord bless you and give you comfort and strength.

  5. I used to work down the hall from Steve at the Education Center. We didn’t work together very long, but he was always a delight to be around. He was also a great help in me getting started in my academic endeavors at Webster. My thoughts and prayers go out to Steve’s family during this difficult time. He will truly be missed.

  6. OMG I was so shocked to see Steves obituary in the paper yesterday.I have thought of you both often over the years and am sorry that I never acted on it. I still remember the summer that both of our families were at Dewey beach. We did good with the boys. anywat if I were not sidlined with bronchitis etc. I would definitely have been there. Let me know if and how I may be of help to you. I still belong to the pool!!! Seriously all our love and prayers go out to you, Brian and Melissa at this trying time. call me. with love, kathy porter 703-255-2377, we’re still in the same house.

  7. I worked with Steve for a great many years at National-Louis University. He was a great teacher, true professional and friend. I am extremely proud to have know him.

  8. I was so sorry to hear about Steve. I had the wonderful opportunity to co-teach with him at National-Louis University for several years and visit with him from time-to-time at faculty meetings and other events. He was such a sweet person and always willing to be of help when needed. I will miss him.

  9. Dear Melissa, Your PSSI family was saddened to hear about your father’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Love, Kelly
