Of McLean, Va., died on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Capital Hospice. The Honorable Alfred F. Chatterton, Jr., husband of the late Louise E. Chatterton, devoted father of Ann Louise Klimas, Ethel C. Ragland, Alfred F. Chatterton III and Deirdre Beth Himes, grandfather of Christopher, Katherine, Kelley, Amy, Eric and Sean; great-grandfather of Bella and Walter. Judge Chatterton was the Chief Administrative Law Judge for the Department of Transportation. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Capital Hospice.
