Age 99, former Army Navy Country Club Gold Champion, died at Fairfax Hospital on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Mrs. Kopcsak was a resident of Fairfax, VA and a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church until moving to her daughter's in Faquier County in 2002. Beloved wife of the late Col. Arpad A. Kopcsak; loving mother of Terry (Al) Lucas of Midland, VA and Art (Mary Lou) Kopcsak of Tuscon, AZ; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

I have wonderful memories of playing golf with Tess. I remember being in my 20’s and Tess was very kind, inclusive and a lovely lady. May God bless your family at a sad time. Very Fondly, Barbara Drake (ANCC)
Tess was an excellent and dedicated golfer. She grew gorgeous and fragrant gardenias which she often shared with the WGO-18 ladies for their golf functions. With fond memories of her I send sincere condolences.
Tess was one of the 1st WGO-18 members I met in the late 80’s, shortly after I’d taken up the game – what an inspiration – Tess was was always an important part of the WGO-18 and WDCGA – how fortunate we were for her leadership and dedication to women’s golf.
