Janet, So sorry to hear about the loss of such a dear friend. I don’t have any details as yet, but when time allows, please tell me more. I cannot attend the funeral service on Monday, but I understand that the burial will be in Connecticut – I presume Waterbury. That is well within reach; I’d be honored to attend. In peace, Paul & Abbie
Dear Janet, Emily and Michael, and Kelsey, We are so sorry about Tom. We will miss the jokes, the laughter, the music, the joy, and the shared experiences. Tom loved to try to stump Mitch with rock & roll trivia questions. Loved Tom’s reactions when he couldn’t manage. His friendship meant so much to us. We are sorry we cannot manage to attend the funeral or the burial service. We hope you find comfort in the love of your family and friends. With our deepest sympathy, Mitch & Susan Friedfeld
Dear Janet and family. At the risk of repeating myself from my earlier note, I’m so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. I have so many fond memories of you both from years past. Of course, there was your wedding. Listening to a folk singer at a pub in Great Falls, VA. The after hours “book club” on Friday nights. (Do you recall his reference to “Snow White” with that glint in his eye? I still chuckle.) Dinners at your home on several occasions. I’ve never forgotten Tom’s wit and sense of humor and I often replay it in my memories of times together. He was a great colleague and a dear friend. I’d hoped Waterbury’s proximity to me would enable me to attend the burial, but it’s the one week we are not close by. Abbie and I wish you nothing but the best in the days ahead. Paul

Condolences on the passing of Tommy. I met him in high school in Waterbury, CT and had the pleasure of his company for many years. I have lots of fond memories of him and his ability to make people laugh. I speak about him from time to time remembering his crazy Rambler sedan with the fold down seats. While his friend were all muscle car nuts he has the coolest vehicle in our friend fleet. We drifted away from each other when he went to work for what i was told was Department of State. Too funny to find out that he was with the Agency. What a cool life it appears he had. Sorry to hear of his passing. Again condolences to all of you.
Very saddened by this news. My sincere condolences. Marty
My deepest sympathy on the loss of Tommy, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Tom graduated with me from Sacred Heart High School! Tom was always kind, polite and made us laugh all the time. I remember several classes I was in with him, and he kept us on our toes, and always smiling. May the Angels lead him into Paradise, and the peace and strength of God be with all of you.Sincerely, Lynn Macri Krieg
Oh Janet, Emily, Kelsey, Mike and Sienna. My heart breaks for each of you. Tom’s Legacy is so strong. Sending deep love and peace to each of you. Xx
I was so sad to hear of Tom’s passing. We were great friends in High School at Sacred Heart, in the same class for all 4 years. He was a total practical jokester. When I was in college I asked him to take me to a sorority Halloween party and he showed up dressed as a nun. We had so many laughs that nite. I know that you must have many memories that you will hold in your hearts forever as will I. Rest in Peace Tom, you were one of a kind. Eileen McDonough Calli SHHS 1970
