Wright of Tallahassee, FL, Thomas R. of Atlanta, GA, Karen A. Reilly of Vienna, VA, Karyl B. Leggio of Reisterstown, MD, James P. of Davie, FL, and Jacqueline M. Heller of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 2 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 8601 Wolftrap Road, Vienna, VA. at 9:30 a.m.

Love and prayers to the Buchanan family at this very difficult time. Mr. Buchanan had such a wonderful smile. We always enjoyed seeing and talking with him. We are thinking of you all and know God’s love and strength will surround you.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Rachael has shared many good memories of your Dad. He is smiling down upon you and your family and hoping someone else in the family paid attention and learned how to use his tools and fix things.
Jacquie, Ms. Buchanan and all the Buchanan siblings – please accept my deep sympathy for the loss of Mr. Buchanan. He was a wonderful man and I have great memories of my time living with all of you in Vienna. His love for his family was obvious and his sense of humor wicked :-). He will be missed. I worked for Tom for several years while we both were at the USGS and I benefited greatly from our relationship, professionally and personally. I am grateful to have had Tom as a friend as well. Marion and I offer our deepest condolences to the Buchanan family on their loss.
