November 28, 1990 ~ December 5, 2025

Tighe Robert Ebner of Washington DC has passed away December 5, 2025.

Tighe was born in Somerville, NJ on November 28, 1990 to the late Robert J. Ebner Jr. of Helena, MT, and Jennifer O’Malley of Amelia Island, FL. He was a thoughtful and loving son and brother to his two sisters Jane Ebner of Amelia Island, FL, and Grace Ebner (and her husband, Conrad Andrews) of Boulder, CO.  Tighe was predeceased by his grandparents Robert J. Ebner of Franklin Lakes, NJ, and William and Jane O’Malley of Amelia Island, FL.  He deeply loved his grandmother Elizabeth B. Ebner of Greensboro, NC and is survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. There are many who loved Tighe and will miss his bright personality and spirit.

Tighe grew up in three NJ towns, playing baseball, basketball, and tennis. He followed the pro matches and tennis opens with avid interest throughout his life. There was always a couple of tennis rackets in his closet.  He graduated from The College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2013, and moved to Washington DC for his employment with a firm that provided economic consulting services to federal contracts.

He enjoyed life with his circle of close friends and visited family in FL often. His cherished cat, Albie, was his travel companion. He found joy in cooking and trying new restaurants around DC.  He read with his book club and enjoyed attending the Washington Nationals games with friends.

It is with profound sadness that we must say rest in peace. He will be forever missed but his humor and spirit will live in our hearts forever. A celebration of life will follow at a later date.
