  1. To Sandra and Phil—–We are very saddened to learn of Virginia’s death. Virginia was one of my favorite people in Fairfax, as was Clay. Her indominable spirit, ever-present smile, friendliness and contagious laugh, made her very special to so many people. We regret that we cannot attend her services. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.—–Jim and Denise

  2. Sandra, Laura, and Anna, I am sorry to hear that Virginia has moved on. She was an undeniable force, as unique as she was sharp, right up to her last days. She was generous and giving of her time and herself. I will always remember her with a smile on her face, since it was often there. I will miss her. My thoughts are with you. With Sympathy, Diane

  3. Dear Sandra and Phil, I am so saddened with Virginia’s passing. She was such a presence in Fairfax and was the “corner anchor” of every 4th of July parade. What a legacy she and Clay have given us all. Please know you and the girls are in my prayers. Fondly, Jane
