Virginia W. Nelson, age 92, of McLean, VA died on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Powhatan Nursing Center, Falls Church, VA. She was born on April 24, 1920 in Louisa, VA to the late George and Katie Wright.
Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Keith E. Nelson, loving and devoted mother of Sandra N. Bates and her husband, Tom, of Fairfax Station, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 11am at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1545 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA. Inurnment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
