Peacefully entered Eternal Rest at home in Fairfax, VA on Friday, March 23, 2007. She is survived by her loving husband, Irvin F. Carpenter, COL USA (Ret.). Devoted mother of Barbara Robinson (Jack) Miller. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Caryn Miller (Jim) Franca and a grandson, David (Molly) Miller; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and numerous devoted relatives and friends. Friends may call at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Sunday, April 1, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m. Mass of christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3700 Old Lee Hwy., Fairfax, VA on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment will be private in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Vivian's name.
