We will miss Uncle Frid but will never forget his laugh and quick wit and our visits to Virginia and Newport…You are in our thoughts and prayers Aunt Peg..
Uncle Frid made us laugh, sang songs in French. and rocked our chikldren to sleep. It doesn’t get much better than that. We will miss you. Love, Robert and Diane
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. When I lost my dear aunt in death, I was encouraged by reading my bible, The Holy Scriptures. I invite you to open your bible and read the book of Revelation, chapter 21, verse 4 (Rev. 21:4) and the book of Isaiah, chapter 25, verse 8 (Isa. 25:8) I found much comfort in knowing that Jehovah God (Isa. 45: 18, 19) promise to resurrect the dead. And, in due time, he will eliminate death, sorrow, and pain FOREVER. Warm regards, Mrs. A. Vega
Uncle Frid and dad (Romeo JBJ Roussin) were great as a team. They were always first and second in school, played baseball together, avid Red Sox fans and were as close as any two people could be. When my dad passed in 2000, Uncle Frid was there to offer comfort, love and support. In June of 2012, my sister and I went to visit with Frid and found he had not lost his sense of humor and he still “eyes” for the girls. We went to dinner and he stopped at every table and had a short conversation with any and everyone. It was great to see him!!!!!! He remembered dad, but kept asking who we were, and that was Okay. It was just great to have been able to spend some time with him!!!! He also insisted on wearing his Red Sox shirt while we were there. Uncle Frid, you will be missed!!!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you Aunt Peg and Rich.
Having grown up on the same street as the Roussins, I was very blessed. Mr. Roussin has been a part of my life since I was five years old. I am very thankful to have known an amazingly kind, and loving man. He not only invested his love and time in his neighbors, but as we grew up he showed that same love to our children. I will really miss his sweet smile, and quick wit. Peg and Rick my love and prayers are with you. Nancy Satterlee Curry
Growing up on Patrick St. in Vienna, I have wonderful memories of Mr. Roussin. He was always really nice and cheerful and easy to talk to. I will always remember that. Peg and Rick you have my deepest condolences for your loss.
Peg, I am sorry for your loss. Wil had a very long life thanks to all of your care and attention. As a couple, you were an ideal example of long lasting love and devotion that so few people have the oppertunity to experience. Know that prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. *** Rick, You have had your Dad for many years. I am sorry that you have lost him. Know that prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. God Bless both of you always. Mary Beth
Wonderful full life, you had that for sure. Anything you did you did your best. Along with Uncle Romey, you will be missed by the Red Sox Fan list. Yous were on top.Love Doris and Morris
I remember Wil from the days when he helped with the cub scout troop his son belonged to. He was a quiet, patient man who always seemed to have a smile on his face and a nice sense of humor.Thinking of him makes me smile, too
Will was my French tutor and car pool friend when I was in high school. He was a great example of what and who a great man is: gentle, caring and fun.
Dear Rich and Peg, You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have such fond memories of Frid. I will see you tomorrow at the church. Beth
Dear Peg, We are so sorry to hear of Wilfrid’s passing. We always enjoyed seeing his smiling face and joking with him about his Red Sox.We will miss him at the Lewinsville and hope we will still see you there.
Uncle Frid, You are sorely missed. Your sense of humor, kindness and love for the Red Sox will never be forgotten. I love you vey much and thankful to have had you in my life. Aunt Peg, our prayers are with you.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Uncle Frid was a generous man with a servant’s heart toward others. He was a positive man with a great sense of humor and the smile of encouragement. He was a patient man but most important a faithful man, a faithful husband and father. Dear Peg and Rich, May God comfort you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. Prov.3:5-6 This verse just came to mind when I was asking what to say. I guess this is probably one of the hardest ways to walk. I hurt with you. Love, Kathy B.
Dear Rick and Mrs. Roussin, I just wanted to express my deepest sympathy at the death of Mr. Roussin. Of course I remember him from when I was little and he would always make me laugh. But I also enjoyed stopping by his house in Vienna, even when I was much older, had gotten married, and had moved out of Vienna (as recent as 5 years ago I think?)I would ride my bike to Vienna and would go by the old neighborhood. Often he would be sitting on the porch with Mrs. Roussin. They were always so friendly and would just catch up with me about all of our lives; and of course Mr. Roussin would get in a joke or two! He was a lovely man. With Sympathy, Michaela Madsen
