Me and my family are deeply saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Bill was a remarkable man who made a lasting impact through both his professional work and his caring nature. He was a good friend, and I feel fortunate to have known him around 30 years and we will always remember him fondly. Godfather George and Karine.
Dear Alla, I last heard from Bill a few months ago and was getting ready to exchange the news when We recived this sad message. The picture of Bill in his USAF uniform reminds me of how he looked when he appeared at our wedding on August 10, 1963. He acted as altar server for a very nervous priest and bride. I wore my Air Force blues and was as calm as Bill. We also shared the Bronx apartment with Chet Skapp as we attended Fordham grad school. Bill cooked the pasta and I stewed the chicken and lamb chops. I hope these memories help you understand Bill a bit more, dear Alla. Rest in peace, Bill.
