William A. Moore

On Monday, January 28, 2008 in Fairfax, VA. Born in Missouri in 1930, Al was a long-time and well-known resident of Northern Virginia. Al was the long-time partner of Ms. Lee Vazquez, a life-long pilot that saw combat action as a pilot of an F4U Corsair in WWII and Korea, a proud member of the Fairfax Group of AA with 49 years of sobriety, a cattle farmer, a father and grandfather, an enthusiastic Lionel collector and a long-time Sales nad Project Manager working in construction in Northern Virginia. A determined, compassionate, creative, supportive and loving friend and father, Al will be sorely missed by many, many people in Northern Virginia and around the country. Visitation services were held at Money and King Funeral Home on Friday, February 1, 2008.
