We only met Bill once, but we think the world of Laura, so he must have been a great father.
Dear Lois, I don’t know what made me turn to the obituaries in the paper this morning, but I saw the announcement about Bill. I’ve thought of you both fondly and often. Love, from your friend Susan
Dear Lois I was shocked when my sister who lives at Manassas called to tell me about Bill’s passing. Bill was very special and I was sorry to hear of his passing. I am recovering from a back operation and don’t know if I can make the 5 hour trip up and back. Be assured I will come if possible. Edith passed in 2005, she and I both thought the world of you and Bill. love Roy
Lois & Family, Sending heartfelt sympathy to you all. Having grown up in Marshall, attending school there and Bill’s family being so much a part of everything in the town, the memories I have will last forever. Prayers will be with you as I will be unable to attend the service. Blessings to you all.
Lois, Laura, Bill, and family, Our deepest sympathy on your loss which we feel as well. Bill was a true gentleman whose warm smile and wonderful Virginia accent greeted us many times over the years at family occasions.
Lois and Family: My heart felt condolences to you Laura, Bill, the grand children and the many who loved Bill…including me! I worked with him for more than several years, shared many walks and talks with him! I planned to go to the services tomorrow, but if the weather continues, won’t be able to attend. I plan to make a donation on behalf of Bill! So many of us love this man and can’t believe he’s gone! He was an inspiration to many of us with Dominion and such an important part of our family! RIP Bill…we love you! Please let us know if there’s anything we can do!
