God’s Peace to the Bandlow family. Ours prayers are with you all.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. We will certainly pray for the repose of his soul. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Monica.
Bill was a true gentleman and professional at US Airways. It was always such a pleasure to fly with him, and I will miss him very much. My deepest sympathy goes to his family. Respectfully, Holli Tucker
You, Monica, and all of Bill’s family are in my thoughts and prayers. I know this is a great loss for you, and i hope you’ll find comfort to relieve your grief.
Monica, Our deepest condolences. Bill and you are and will be in our prayers. Henry, Janet, and family
Monica, we are very sorry for your loss. We have been praying for you and for Bill. It was especially touching to hear from Tony’s sister, Anne that Bill has been so generous in helping others to fly to France. As a result of her visit to France, she will be entering the Dominican convent this year. I’m sure his generosity will be rewarded with prayers from the convent. God bless you and Mary comfort you.
I had the honor of meeting Bill only once, and I was impressed. He was a good man, and leaves behind a generous legacy. May he rest in peace, and may the Lord’s infinite mercy fill the void he leaves on this earth.
Bill – thank you for being my tradRC confirmation sponsor upon my tradRC conditional confirmation with SSPX Bishop Richard Williamson on 2004-06-14 at St. Athanasius tradRC church, 9201 Leesburg Pike, Vienna VA. Thank you also for being a model devout tradRC layman for me to follow and emulate. Eternal Rest grant unto him, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him and may the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
May Our Lord and Our Lady be your comfort as you carry this cross that they’ve lovingly chosen for you, Monica. We will be praying for you and the repose of Bill’s soul. God bless you.
Monica and family, Please accept our deepest sympathies. You are in our prayers.
“O Lord, Thou gavest him to us to be our joy, and Thou hast taken him away from us. We give him back to Thee without a murmur, but our hearts are wrung with sorrow.” St. Ephram Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May the good God uphold during these sorrowful times. Ray and Marie Sikorra
Eternal Rest Grant Unto Him and May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him. Monica, our thoughts and prayers are with you and for Bill, you have our deepest condolences!
I just learned of Bill’s passing. Having known Bill for over 30 years from the Navy and USAIRWAYS, I am deeply saddened. He was a true gentleman, compassionate individual, with great sense of humor and outstanding pilot. Such a humble man. I also know Bill had a very strong faith. My thoughts are with his family and wife Monica. We will miss him.
I never knew Bill, but I understand he was an A-7 driver. I was an F-4/F-14 RIO and the Naval aviation community is a Band of Brothers. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I had the privilege of knowing Bill in the Navy. We attended Landing Signal Officer School together and we both served as LSOs on the USS Independence and shared many hours on the LSO platform “learning the craft!” Years later our paths crossed once more as new hires in the 12/12/84 class at US Air and later shared a crash pad together when we were first based in DCA. As a Naval Officer and Aviator, and as an Airline Pilot, Bill was the consummate professional. His integrity was uncompromising and his faith in God and his fellow man were equally uncompromising. He approached everything he did with an intensity of focus and resolve. Above all, Bill was a gentleman in every sense of the word. I always admired Bill and the way he carried himself in that humble yet confident sort of way. We have lost a great one and I have lost someone I was proud to call my friend. Fair winds and following seas shipmate. I’ll miss you Foot!
