William Porter died on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at his home. Loving son of Mary E. and the late William James Porter, Jr; devoted brother of Mary (Jason) Powell and Robert (Ashley) Porter, and grandson of Mary Whitermore. He is also survived by his niece and nephew, Henry and Fern Powell and loving extended family members. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 8601 Wolf trap Rd., Vienna, VA on Friday, April 28 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Fairfax City Cemetery in Fairfax, VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James' name to ASPCA (ASPCA.org)
