William Turner Moffett
March 11, 1935 ~ July 26, 2017
William T. Moffett, 82, of Vienna, VA passed away on July 26, 2017. He retired from Crestar Bank formerly NS&T, as Senior Vice President after 28 years of service and in his retirement worked at the Electric Shaver Shop where he enjoyed working with his hands and problem solving.
A loving and devoted father, Bill is survived by his daughter Candace Moffett Berde (Josh); grandchildren Samuel, Ethan and Olivia; and former wife Sally DiGiovanni.
A celebration of life service will be held at Money and King Funeral home on Saturday, August 12th, 2017 @ 2:00 pm

I am unable to attend the services on Sat.,, Aug. 12, 2017. However, I want to offer my condolences to Bill’s family. He was my long time neighbor and fellow board member of the Dunn Loring Woods Civic Association, and a friend. Bill and I attempted to solve world, national and local problems during our sidewalk conversations. which, if not productive, were enjoyable. Along with his family and friends I can look back on good memories of Bill. He will be missed.

I’ve been Bill’s neighbor for almost 10 years. On many occasions he was my source of information about the events in the Dunn Loring Woods. I also enjoyed conversations with him on everyday topics from homeownership to politics. He stepped up many times and offered his help as good neighbors do. I will miss him and would like to offer condolences to his family.
