Yolanda Meruvia of Vienna, VA., died on Friday, June 27, 2014 at her
home. She is the daughter of the late Roberto Perez Acua and Angelica
Ormachea-Tapia; loving mother of Silvia Meruvia-Landers and husband
George Landers, Louisa Meruvia, Gus Meruvia and wife Staci Via, sister
of Raquel Astorga, Martha Solares, Jose Raul Perez and the late Lily
Perez de S. de Loria and Teresa De Loria; cherished grandmother of
Hernan, Lisita (Paul Joyner), Rodrigo (Marion Fehse), Yara (Curt
Schwarz), Bianca, Nathan, Madison, Sydney and Nicolas;
great-grandmother of Esteban, Santiago, Isabella, Joaquin, Noelia,
Thomas, Matthew and Sabrina. Relatives and friend are invited to
Yolanda's Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W.
Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Wednesday, July 2 from 6-8 PM. Interment
will be private with the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may
be made to Bishop O'Connell High School, 6600 N. Little Falls Rd.

Queridas Luisita y Sylvia: La memoria de Doa Yolita es de una mujer de enorme corazon. Apenas llegaron mis papis al edificio donde ella vivia en Falls Church, ella subio llevandoles una fuente llena de empanadas. Fue el principio de una linda amistad. Nuestro mas sentido pesame a ti querida Louisa y a tu familia. Doy gracias a Dios por haberme dado la oportunidad de conocer a tu mami. Los recurdos de las maravillosas cenas en companhia de ella siempre estaran en mi corazon.
Sylvia, Luchita y Gaston: Les acompaamos en estos momentos de profundo dolor. Recordaremos a su mami siempre con un cario profundo. Ella ha sido una persona muy generosa y siempre nos dio su apoyo. Un abrazo, Yoly Solares e hijos.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May she be received into the arms of our Blessed Mother and your family be comforted by the love of God and the wonderful memories that you have of your Mom. There is no replacing a mother but she will live forever in your hearts. My deepest sympathies.
Querida Luisita y familia, Me uno a ustedes en este momento de dolor para desearles que Dios les de mucha resignacion en la perdida de la abuelita. Tengo muy bellos recuerdos de ella y de algo si pueden estar seguros es de que recibio en vida todo lo que ella merecia, ver crecer su bella familia, momentos gratos y toda la atencion necesaria. Se extranara mucho su presencia pero nos queda la satisfaccion de haberla tenido entre nosotros por todo este tiempo.
