Carl V. Stewart, Jr, 58, died on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from natural causes. Carl was born on October 8, 1962 in Washington, D.C. He is survived by his mother Peggy Stewart; one sister, Wilma Marsengill and husband Paul; four nephews, Alexander Marsengill and wife Mary-Ava, Nicholas (also godson) and fiancée Evelyn Brown, Phillip and Willie.
A grave side service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday October 4, at National Memorial Park. Deacon John Allen will officiate. Family will receive friends after the service at the home of Paul and Wilma Marsengill.
Carl loved to listen to music. His favorite bands were TOOL and Led Zeppelin. He enjoyed hanging out with his nephews talking about beers they had tried and what games they were playing. He loved watching football and reminiscing about playing football. He enjoyed fantasy series, especially Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings. Chinese food was his absolute favorite.
