Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I remember Mrs. Kelly from my elementary school days with Kathy. She was always full of energy, helping everyone. Whether it was Brownies or Girl Scouts & at Franklin Sherman. I will treasure those times/memories of your mother. Sending you all my thoughts & prayers. She is now an Angel watching over the family. God Bless, Jackie Carrera-Johnson

  2. Your mother and I first met at Fort Myer’s Memorial Chapel. Soon thereafter we met for Sunday brunches at Spates Hall, followed by weekday lunches at the O’Club where we could converse for 2 hours solving world problems and sharing gardening tips. Because of our shared interest in gardening, your mother would give me any of her plants that were growing out of control. As I result many of the plants growing in your mother’s yard, now also grow in mine. Enough plants for all growing seasons, and all of them give me wonderful memories of your mother. I will deeply miss her. Barbara Clemens

  3. Carol Ann was a cousin to my mother and we always referred to her as “Cousin Carol Ann”. She as dear person who my family will always treasure. She was a #1 fan of Mickey and the and we enjoyed her visits to Disney World as we live outside Orlando in Ocoee, Fl.. On each visit we always looked forward to spending time with Carol Ann and making sure we met up at Shades of Green Resort and had a cherry coke. Her smile was captivating and she was always such an elegant lady. She never missed a Sunday mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary while at Disney . May our very special Carol Ann Rest In Peace.

  4. I met her at a tour to the portrait gallery in DC. Soon after they added the Obamas. We were on the bus tour together. Organized by ACS. I didn’t know anyone. She was kind. We spent that day together, walked around the gallery. She knew everything about the gallery and everything that was in it. She walked really fast. I remember trying to assist her going up the stairs but she didn’t want it. She was so strong for her age! We had lunch together that day. We came back to ACS and she sent my kids, cute little books so they could learn how to read. I always think of her. She was something else. Today I woke up and this was in my Facebook memories so I googled her name and this showed up 🙁
