Cathryn Brandon Cooke, 91, of Falls Church, VA, died Thursday, July 18, 2019, after a brief illness. A native of Belmont, NC, she was born November 16, 1925 to Willie Frances Boyd and Albert Neal Brandon.
Married in 1947 to Donald A. Cooke of Dallas, NC, they later moved to Washington, DC, where they established The Reprint Co. and Reprint Publishers, which they ran until retirement.
Surviving is son Robert Cooke, daughter-in-law Beth Cooke, granddaughters Taylor and Rachel Cooke, and sisters Anne Meek and Betty Brandon, of North Carolina.
Ms. Cooke was predeceased by her father, mother, husband, eldest son, Michael S. Cooke, and four brothers, Everett, Charles, Carl and Boyd.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Money & King Funeral Home, Vienna, VA.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, July 26, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, Arlington VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to City Gate, of Washington, DC.
