Dallas Walton Brumback passed away peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side on May 26th at Fairfax INOVA Hospital. He was born in Washington, DC on June 5, 1942 to Cletus Huffman Brumback and Jewel Robbs Brumback.

Dallas was widely respected and loved by those who knew him and those who did not know him soon would become a friend over a cup of coffee. He was known as a loving husband and father, dependable brother and friend, and a man to always share his words of ‘wisdom’ with anyone willing to listen.

He graduated from McLean High School in 1960, was the owner of Brumback’s Exxon, in Herndon, Virginia from 1966-2008, served on several Condominium Boards, loved dealing real estate, and attended Bethel Primitive Baptist Church.

Dallas attended over 50 Daytona NASCAR races, loved to be on the water, and enjoyed bird hunting with friends.

He is survived by his wife Wanda, daughter Theresa Berry (Chris), daughter Sherri Brumback, son Dallas Brumback Jr., grandchildren Russell, Frank, Andrew, Elizabeth, Zakkery, Meghan, Olivia, Naomi, Hannah, Rebekah, Julie, and great-grandchildren Vera, Ada, Walton, Abigail, sisters Carolyn, Ruth, Erlene (James), brother Kenneth.
