Dorothy “Dottie” Mary Clarke of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. She was born in Leesburg, Va on April 8, 1948 to Raymond and Dorothy Blankenship. She graduated from Washington Lee High School in 1967 and had a career at Long & Foster until she retired in 2013. Beloved mother of Vicki Ballowe (Bob) and Jamie Clarke (Jen); grandmother of Carrie Corwin, Desiree Clarke, Andrew Ballowe, Bryce Clarke and Kellsey Clarke; great-grandmother of Luke Corwin and Erik Corwin. Also survived by her brother, Raymond “Bucky” Blankenship. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 12th at 10:00 AM at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va. The family has requested no flowers but would prefer donations to the American Diabetes Association.
