Elena Rego de Elias of McLean, VA passed away peacefully on Saturday March 9, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Elias Martinena; devoted mother of Antonio Elias (Mirella). She is also survived by four grandchildren, Cristina (Juan Carlos), Mariana (Seth), Patricia (Aaron), and Antonio (Hannah), and five great-grandchildren, Francesca, Isabel, Alejandro, Elisa, and William. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Luke Catholic Church, 7001 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA on Friday March 15 at 11am. Reception immediately to follow at Flaherty Hall at Saint Luke. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a prayer of the rosary or any prayer of your choice.

I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. When someone we love dies, it’s natural to want to see that person again. God promises us that He will comfort us in our trials if we go to him in prayer. 2 Corinthians 1:3 calls him the God of all comfort.
