Helen "Gwen" P. Hall

“Gwen” Powell Hall of Vienna, Virginia passed peacefully away at her home on June 26th of natural causes. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Rudolph M. Powell & Romaine F. Powell; her husband, Paul F. Hall; her sister, Janet P. McMahon; and her brothers, Rudolph M. Powell, Jr., Donald P. Powell, and Michael J. Powell. She is survived by nine nieces and five nephews whom she loved dearly.

Gwen graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Washington, D.C., and worked as an administrative assistant for the federal government. She also spent a significant number of years in her favorite role as a caregiver for her mother.

Gwen enjoyed needlework, crochet, tennis, gardening and golf. She worshiped at Our Lady of Good Counsel. She was known to passionately love her family and friends.

Gwen’s celebration of life will be held at Money & King on Saturday, July 2nd. Viewing will take place at 10:00 am, with a service following at 11:00. Interment will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park.
