was born on October 17, 1992 in Tucson, AZ, and died on July 13, 2021 in McLean, VA.

She graduated from Richardson Pearce HS in the Dallas, TX, area, as salutatorian, after claiming two back-to-back state championships with the girls’ soccer team.

She graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA, majoring in mechanical engineering, and playing Division III women’s soccer.

She worked at Appian, a low-code software company in Reston, now in Tyson’s Corner, VA, for six years, and was recently promoted to Business Applications Delivery Manager.

Kiele has been integral to every group that she has been involved with and has had a tremendous impact on everyone that she has known. She has countless friends and coworkers.

She is survived by her parents, Lorence Miller and Leilani Oana in Dallas, TX; her sister Melia Jael Miller Oana, in McLean, VA and her partner/spouse equivalent, Thomas Meyer, in McLean, VA.

She is forever in our hearts.
