Linda C. Koeckert of Arlington, VA passed away on January 18, 2019 at her home at The Virginian retirement community in Fairfax, VA. She was born in 1943 in Doylestown, PA, to the late Gilbert and Margaret Carlin. A graduate of Drexel University in 1965, she earned her Masters at Kansas State and she was a Patent Examiner prior to raising her children. Linda led Brownie and Girl Scout troops in her home. She worked in the Oakridge and Hoffman-Boston elementary school libraries in Arlington. She is survived by two daughters, Heidi Markisello and Margery Bonafede; and one brother, Phil Carlin of Maitland, FL. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Matthew, Amelia, Stephen, Margaret, Elise, Katherine, Claire, Natalie, Nathaniel, and Benjamin Markisello; and Carolyn and Sarah Bonafede. She is preceded in death by one grandson, Caleb Bonafede.

A graveside service will be held at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd., Arlington VA 22201 on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
