Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Tracey and Family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Joyce and I shared so many wonderful times together, whether we were writing and mailing GOP newsletters, doing fundraisers or campaigns, or later teaching drama classes in Falls Church and then piano recitals. She was such a lady and always so poised! Since our move from Northern Virginia, we lost track of each other and it was purely by accident that I viewed this post. Just know the world lost a beautiful lady.

  2. I have so many memories to share and would like to share a few special stories at Malinda’s memorial service if possible. She had a tremendous impact in my life both musically and personally. I am very sad to have lost my dear friend and commandant. May lovely music keep close to her in her eternity. I loved her. Always WILL love her and think of her with highest regard.

  3. So sorry for your loss. Joyce and I met at WV Tech in the late 50ties. We met again when we were in summer school at WV University in the late 60ties. When Russ, Eric and I moved to Maryland in the late 70ties I was told by a former Tech Classmate that Joyce lived in Virginia. I gave Joyce a call and over the years we visited and talked by phone. We loved going to Joyce’s parties. She was a very talented lady and leaves me with lots of “Happy Memories”. I will always remember that funny little laugh of hers. Barbara W. Gates

  4. I’m sorry for your loss. Cherish the many memories of times spent together and may you be comforted by the words in Acts 24:15.
