Mary Louise Swan was born on November 4, 1928 at Sibley Hospital in Washington, DC and passed away at the Gainesville Health and Rehabilitation Center on September 7, 2019. Mary was the wife of the late Benjamin Swan, and mother to Joey and James Swan. She is survived by her grandchildren, Brian and Jessica; and her niece, Tessie Thompson (Bee Bee). Viewing and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 a 1:00 PM at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va. Interment will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park.

My favorite Aunt, Mary will be so missed. She was so beautiful inside and out and such an inspiration with her wisdom, strength, kindness, wit, and great sense of humor. Sitting next to your bedside with you the last few years made me realize how lucky I was to be named after you. We made a lot of memories, that I’ll never forget. You were Strong, Had a great sense of Humor, and A determined Woman that never gave Up!!! Thank you for being there for me. I Love You, and will Miss you so much.
