Nancy Arlene Pimentel, age 83, passed away on January 11, 2021 in McLean, Virginia from COVID-19. Nancy was born in Port Chester, New York, the only child of the late Nunzie Fiore and Angela Angeletta. She grew up in Harrison, New York and graduated from the Edgewood School in Greenwich, Connecticut. In 1960 she married the late Manuel “Mickey” Pimentel, Jr. She worked as an executive secretary and in other administrative positions at the Continental Baking Company, Physicians Radio Network, and medical offices in Stamford and Greenwich. She was a parishioner of St. Leo Parish for more than 40 years, and a member of the Stamford chapter of the Emblem Club before moving to Virginia to be near her grandchildren. Nancy enjoyed attending live performances of all kinds, especially Broadway musicals; traveling; and trying new restaurants. She was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her son, Paul Pimentel (Emily) of Washington, D.C. and granddaughters Mary Rose and Margaret Angela, and her dear friend Bill Fortini of Stamford. A private burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rye Brook, and a memorial service will be held in Stamford when it is once again safe to gather. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions made in Nancy’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.

  1. When I was first starting out as a hairstylist in Stamford, Ct I had the pleasure of having Nancy as a client. She was so kind and encouraging and spoke so lovingly of her son Paul. May she rest in peace. Joanne Labs

    • I also had the pleasure of doing Nancy’s hair for many years and was sorry to hear about her passing. We shared a connection as we both grew up in Harrison and my Mom also worked at Continental Baking Co.We had so many wonderful conversations during our visits and she adored her family. My thoughts and condolences go out to Bill and her family.
