  2. Patsy, you and Eric were the first people to befriend my sister Patty when she moved in across the street from you more than seven years ago. We are happy to have been part of your Emmanuel Lutheran family. Your kind deeds live beyond you. Eric, our sincere sympathy and condolences goes out to you and Jason. Judy Wilson, Hannah and Roy Bensen

    • I’ll miss my Buckroe Beach neighbor who liked to sit out on her back desk and watch the water fowl birds that visited the marsh behind our houses. God Bless, Patricia, Dwayne & Sunny.

  3. I will always cherish all of my memories of Patsy when I was growing up. I remember her sending me her wonderful fudge!! All our love to Jason, Brenna and Eric. We are sending love and prayers to you all. The Childress Family Sarah, TJ, Lily and Lauren

  4. Patsy was my roommate at UVA- what a lucky girl I was! She was pretty, smart and very funny. Only problem, she hated getting up for early duty. For two years we slept with a string tied around her big toe and when the alarm went off I would just pull on that string until she was up! Patsy had a deep love of nursing and from the beginning she studied hard, and worked passionately. All her patients felt her kindness and caring. And her role in the ER grew as others recognized her talents and administrative skills. I am grateful to have had this special lady as my friend. I loved her dearly, and am glad now she has peace. Pat Clingenpeel Carmicheal

    • Patty was the best child hood friend anyone could possibly have. I searched for years to find her. My heart goes out to Eric and her family.
