Regina Uta Wollard, 83, of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 after a heartbreaking battle with frontotemporal dementia and primary progressive aphasia.

Born on August 20, 1937 in Priestewitz, Germany near Dresden, Uta relocated to Obernzenn, West Germany after WW II. Uta was a master cook, gardener, seamstress, knitter and needle pointer. As her children grew and the family settled in Fairfax, Uta returned to the workforce where she was employed for many years by local electric supply companies until her final retirement. Her retirement years were spent enjoying her home and family, especially her four beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kim Johnson and husband, Jim, and Pam Carmody and husband, Bill, along with her grandchildren, Ella and Cliff Johnson and Claire and Will Carmody.
