Sandra Claire Graves

sandra graves
Sandra Claire Graves passed away peacefully Friday, May 28, 2021. She died of complications brought on by COVID-19.

Sandy grew up in the Washington area, and spent most of her professional life at CACI International. Sandy managed facility moves and installations, as well as providing support services for new and established offices.

After leaving CACI, she found a home at Premier Turf Farms in Loudoun County, VA. Her considerable organizational skills and quirky personality made her a favorite with both staff and clients.

Sandy was a life-long horse-lover. Having horses right outside the office at Premier Turf was one of things she loved best about the job, and her puppy office buddies Mon Ami and Bolt.

Sandy was an amazing Mom and Grandma. She loved her daughter Geneva, and granddaughter Paige with all her heart. There was nothing she wouldn't do for them. She really was the best Mom anyone could hope for. She also adored her grandkitty Spooky, who would always try to "help" her while she was trying to use the printer.

Sandy was a member of Job's Daughters Bethel 65 in her youth, and continued to be involved in Jobies when her daughter was old enough to join Bethel 9 in McLean. She always made it to every meeting, event, sleepover, and dance. She was also a Past Bethel Guardian of Bethels 9 and 65.

Sandy was a Past Worthy Matron (several times over) in the Order of the Eastern Star. As with Jobies, she tried to attend almost everything. She loved seeing all of her friends, and helping any way she could.

Sandy is survived by Geneva Claire Kramer (daughter), Paige Claire Kramer (granddaughter), Philip Edwin Graves (father), Ralph Ellis Graves (brother), and Gary Kave (ex-husband).
