Seena Vasan

Seena Vasan, 72, of Manassas, VA passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020. Seena was born in Bangalore India, on October 15, 1947 to Surya and Jayamma Iyer. Seena graduated from RV College of Engineering and became a civil engineer for Prince William County Government.
Seena was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved to host gatherings of family and friends where he displayed his great sense of humor and passion for cooking. His favorite past time was perfecting traditional Indian dishes and Seena would spend hours laboring over his chicken tikka masala, his signature dish. He was a good and trusted friend who would do anything to help and offer assistance to anyone. As a senior civil engineer and all around problem solver, Seena was looked upon to lead the County’s most complex projects and resolve its toughest construction issues. Above all, he was very religious and a devoted Hindu.
Seena is survived by his wife, Uma Vasan, his daughter, Swetha Wehner, son-in-law Jeff Wehner and his grandchildren Sean and Aanya Wehner.

Unable to digest that Seena is no more. While he was in BLR recently,he told me that he wanted to see me once before his death. Don’t know why he said so.! Seena om shanthi from ur friend Radha.
