Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I met Bill while attending the U. of Maryland through another veteran and my good friend, Ken Whitaker. We all remained friends, sports fans, golfing buddies for the next 4 decades. Bill was a U.S. Army patriot. A fixture at our annual “June Tournament” in Annapolis. He worked hard. Played hard. A joy to be around. My deepest condolences to the family. Rowan Scarborough.

  2. To Bill’s family, please accept my deepest sympathy. I have known Bill since we were young and beautiful, about forty years. He was a delightful person and I have many fond memories of our friendship. It is with great sadness to learn of his passing and my heart goes out to all of his friends and family. Lesyle Cox

  3. We are sad that Bill is gone. Our condolences go out to all of his friends and family. Bill was a long-time friend, a kind man who leaves a lasting memory. Steve and Barbara Schick

    • I met Bill during the college years and will always remember him as a fun-loving, vibrant presence. He was full of life. My deepest sympathy to his family. Susan Lau

  4. With deep sadness have I learned of the loss of Bill. I grieve for all of you, his dear family. Bill was the love of my life. We were high school sweethearts at SVCH. His family’s move to Paris changed our relationship, but didn’t quell it and we resumed when he returned from Vietnam when I was at UVA. It just didn’t work out. He was a great guy and was loved by many, including my big biological family. With sincere sympathy, Linda G Sargent

  5. Billy was one of the best athletes I have ever seen. He was an extremely quick basketball player and a great baseball player. Good all around athlete. He was also very intelligent and he was very personable. He was fun to be around. I have looked for a long time for him. I am just so sorry that he is gone. Ernie Ramos
