  1. Thank you for all the years of love and support, Evelyn … you were truly blessed with a heart of gold. My heartfelt sympathy to your family and all those saddened by your loss … may God’s grace bring you comfort and healing. Love, Ken Donaldson

  2. The Spradlin-Stark Family will always remember the joy and love that lived in Evelyn Rogers. We are fortunate to be the neighbors of George and Regina, and were able to witness, on many occasions over the last 12 years, what a mother’s love can mean to an entire family (and to a community as well). Evelyn made a lasting impression on everyone that was blessed to know her—we loved hearing her many stories of time spent raising children that actually were able to be out in the world and free to explore…we loved her incredible cooking (she took the prize at the chili cookoff) and baking ability (pies and cobblers)…we loved her hand made gifts (a baby bonnet)…we loved to see her face light up when the name of one of her children or grandchildren was mentioned. And finally, we loved who she was and how she lived her life—as an honest, caring, loving woman. God Blessed us with Evelyn Ruth Rogers!

  3. The Sears Family will miss the Duchess of Tucker Ave. Her sweet wave and smile from her front porch. Her tenderness towards children and genuine love for her fellow man was a gift to all who met her. I thank God for giving us this angel and am sad he has called her back to home. Nana, we love you but know you are watching over all your children on Tucker Ave.

  4. From: Lori Dostourian and Davit Erbe
We are in Uruguay, but our hearts and prayers are with the Roger family. We loved Evelyn and will always remember her wonderful spirit and love to others. We wish we were in the States to share comfort with the family. With all our love Lori and Davit

  5. Marian McKenna made a donation to SHARE of McLean in honor of Mrs. Rogers, one of SHARE”s original organizers, and a loving and dear close family friend.

  6. “My Deepest Condolences go out to the Rogers family, I hope you find comfort in these words, “He will swallow up death forever,……And will wipe away the tears from all faces. Isaiah 25:8. We want to trust in Jehovah God’s, promise of the resurrection hope. jw.org
