She will always have a special place in my heart.

  28. I am shocked and heartbroken to hear my beautiful, funny and brilliant high school friend has passed on. Our paths were shared for those four years at Seton over 35 years ago, and from that limited time she made a big impact. I can honestly say I hear her voice and laugh and see her smile in my memory. She had an infectious work ethic, natural leadership and unwavering energy to spread good. We took the same math, science and computer courses and had a healthy and friendly competition to nudge each other to excel. I treasure seeing her 3 years ago at a mutual friend’s 50th birthday party. I learned then that we both had a child graduating from VA Tech. She was as beautiful then as I remembered her. I offer my words here hoping that it is some comfort hearing that her memory lives on in someone whose life she touched so many years ago. My deepest condolences to her parents, siblings, Jerome, Alexandra and Christina. Love to all from Teresa Neville Brendler
