  13. she will be remenbered. a sweet, kind, quiet, loving person. the kind of person she was; she treated her step grandson just like her grandson and her daughter Kris carries on the tradition.

  14. Dear Kris, Please express to the rest of the family our feeling of loss through you. You have been in our prayers daily and will continue until His healing power finishes its work. The greatest memorial to one is the thoughts and memories left behind.

  15. Marilyn, my sweet, wonderful sister, you’ll never be far from my heart. I’ll love you always, Barb

  16. In 1988, when we first moved to VA from Iowa, Marilyn let us stay with her. Kris and Katy, for 3 months until we were found a place of our own. She assisted me in getting paperwork started for my job with the Post Office, which I made a career out of. She assisted in getting Barb a referral to work at USIS, and being a great aunt to Amy and Joe. She was always there whenever we needed her. She will be missed by all of us.

  17. Marilyn, Thank you for having been such a good and caring friend and for all the wonderful memories. You gave me unconditional friendship and total acceptance, I feel honored to have been your friend. Our walks together and our long chats will never be forgotten. You will live forever in my heart. God Bless,

  18. Marilyn, my dear sister. Your generous, bright and giving light will be with us always. You were so sensitive to our needs, and helped each of us quietly, without fanfare or expectation. You put others first, and helped us in so many touching, amusing, and perfect ways. We could always count on you as our soft place to land, and for a good laugh!….your social and political commentary and life observations were spot on and pretty darn hilarious. You not only got us out of those little jams we occasionally find ourselves in, but anticipated when we’d need help, an invitation, or some insight. I personally owe you my retirement. I thank you for all that you were and am blessed to call you my sister.

  19. May God help keep the family together and help you find peace and comfort during this time of sorrow. Our prayers are with the family and friends of Marilyn Louise McCullough. God bless you all!

  20. I will always remember how Marilyn was kind and generous to all of the new investigators when I first came into government service. Her family is in our prayers.

  21. Marilyn was my mentor and friend for nineteen years. She was a jewel with a wonderful wit and deep insight. I will never forget her.

  22. It’s been almost 3 years now and i still think of you every single day. You are still a softspot in my heart. You always will be. Your loving sister, Barb

  23. Your anniversary is again upon us today (4 years). Time goes by too fast. So many changes for us here still carrying on. I know that you know you are still here for us. Love, your sister, Barb
