Hasty; loving mother of Katherine (William) Talamantes of Great Falls, VA and Hal Hasty of Great Falls, VA; adored grandmother of Matthew, Benjamin, and Julia Talamantes; sister of the late Scott and Steve Hasty; and sister-in-law of Kathy Hasty.
Interment will be held at Red Hill Cemetery, North Carolina at a late date

Our condolences go to Janis’ family. Janis will be remembered as a good friend and neighbor in Evermay and as a participant in the Evermay Dinner Group. She last was hostess to the Group at a dinner in December 2008 at her lovely Great Falls home. May she rest in peace.
Janis was one of the first friends I made when I moveed to R’ham in 2nd grade. I remember her for her kindness, her beautiful hair, and for all the silly fun we had together. Even though I never saw her again after graduation from R’ham HIgh the news of her passing has filled me with sadness. To her family I would like to say that she is one of my dearest memotires of my childhood and teen years.
She will always be remembered for her kindness and courtesy. My condolences to the family.
