  1. Please accept my sincere condolences at this difficult time. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. Love, connie

  2. I am saddened by the loss of a good friend and former co-worker. Bob and I had many good conversations and sharing sessions. He will be missed by all of us at the courthouse. My condolences to his family. May GOD bless and hold him in HIS arms. Jerry Conner

  3. You lived next door on Brian Drive and I grew up with you. Thank God for great memories. You will be missed. Peace and Clarity Mike

  4. I fondly remember Bob as a good friend and co-worker at the Federal Courthouse in Richmond. I still carry a small guardian angel coin he gave me when we were working together. May God comfort and encourage his family during this time of loss.

  5. I offer my deepest condolences to the Dix family. Bob was a kind and gentle man. My Dad thought greatly of Bob. May God give you peace in your fondest memories of him.

  6. To the family of Bob Dix- heartfelt sympathy during this sad time in your life. We, Dale and I had the honor of knowing and sharing time with Bob at Lake Land’or. His display of requesting people to do the proper thing made this world a better place. I will miss him and hope the family knows that He honored our community by giving of himself without expectations. Altho he was so sick himself, he was at the services for Dale who passed away just before Thanksgiving. Deepest condolences!

  7. We wish to offer our deepest sympathy and condolences. Bob’s caring and love will continue to live in our hearts.

  8. Our family lived next door on Brian Drive in Vienna and I have many fond memories of Bob. In particular, I recall that he was always a protective figure in the neighborhood and was always watching our for all of us kids. I know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Please accept my deep sympathy at this time. Sincerely, Mark W Enger and family.

  9. I am so sorry I am unable to be there today for my sister, Jan Dix, my nieces, Kimberly & her husband Jeffrey, Cyndie & her husband Gregory, Bob’s sons, Bob, Jr., and Donnie, and their families. My sincere condolences to you all on the loss of your beloved husband, and Pops. Uncle Bob, as I called him, will always hold a special place in my heart for how he loved and cared for my sister and my nieces. I depended on him more than he ever knew. He showed me the definition of integrity, honesty, and treating people right, regardless of their circumstances or positions in life. Our entire family was blessed by his presence when he joined us by the marriage of my sister, and he is already missed by us all. I will forever be grateful for the special relationship he had with my daughter, Tracie. I know I speak for our entire family when I say we are better people for having known him. Diane

  10. Jan & Family: So sorry to hear about the loss of Bob. My sincere condolences go out to all of you. Although I did not see Bob often in Dale City, he was so very kind and a joy to speak with. May God be with all of you at this difficut time.

  11. One of my fondest memories of working with the federal courts was working with Bob in both Alexandria and Richmond. We sat through many long trials and docket calls together in Alexandria courtrooms. I have thought of him often in the years since leaving the courts. I admired his faith in God and love of family and friends. He was always quick to ask how certain members of my family were doing too, always with sincere interest. My heartfelt condolences to Jan, who he always spoke so highly of, the rest of the family, and the many who were fortunate enough to call Bob their friend.

  12. Donnie and Family, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Blessings to you all.

  13. We were sad to hear of Bob’s passing. We knew him for many years at Hillendale Baptist Church. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jan and the family.

  14. I just noticed this in the paper and I am sorry I did not see it before now as I could have attended this past weekend. I grew up on Brian Drive and have fond memories of Mr Dix and the entire family. My deepest condolances.
