Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Dear Susan, Scott, and Sarah, Very sorry to read that Dick passed away. My Mother and Father thought the world of him and he was a character I will never forget. Susan and Dick were unfailingly kind and supportive when both my parents passed away. Truly great friends. Dick will be missed by Podium Drives past and present alumni alike. The gregarious man with the bow tie, penny loafers, and glass of wine. Very sad he is gone, but what good memories of Dick Berkey!!!

  2. Dear Susan,Sarah, & Scott, We served with your Dad in London and have wonderful memories of him and all of you. He was a terrific officer and a warm, wonderful friend with excellent insights into the challenges we faced at that time. His sense of humour and sharp mind made for priceless sessions with him in both our professional and social lives. Dick remains in our hearts and in our thoughts, never to be forgotten. Heaven must now be an even better place with his arrival. Nancy & Dan Mozeleski

  3. So long, Dick. You were a good friend and an engaging companion. I think I enjoyed every social occasion where I encountered you. I imagine you holding forth jovially at the great cocktail party in the sky.

  4. I was so sorry to hear about Dick’s passing. It seems like yesterday that we were all celebrating his retirement. He was a smart, charming man with good humor. He made the stresses of the job bearable. Am still in shock because I just heard the news today My heart goes out to Susan. Christina And Jeff Vogel

  5. Dear Susan, Sarah, and Scott, Arne and I are so very sorry for the sudden passing of your husband and father. We think of ourselves as close friends with many, many fond memories of Dick at your wonderful open house at Christmas, or just getting together for a glass or two of wine to solve the problems of the world. It was always stimulating conversation. Of course, there was no better place to be than at the Berkeys for Derby Day the first Saturday of May. Dick was such a wonderful man and father we will miss him very much. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Carola and Arne Bruflat
